We live in a fast-paced world where expectations are high and the demands on our bodies, minds and souls are overwhelming. To cope, we need to know and practice good self-care and boundaries.
Unfortunately, most of us don’t know how to do this very well. We do life the best we can with the tools we have but eventually realize that it’s not working. We’re worn out, stressed out, physically unhealthy, and we don’t know how to fix it!
If you are ready to learn a new way of coping, ready to feel better and live fuller, come experience psychotherapy for growth and change.
--Julie Davis
Julie utilizes a “whole person” approach to therapy, focusing on emotional, spiritual, physical, mental and behavioral roadblocks that get in the way of growth and change. She helps people uncover, understand, and work through these roadblocks so that symptoms such as food addiction, anxiety, depression, relationship conflicts and physical pain are managed or eliminated.
Julie works with individuals and couples, teenagers and adults.
Julie is a registered Marriage Family Therapist Intern (MFTI 40055*) in practice at the Christian Counseling Center in Fremont, California, since 2000. She is also affiliated with New Life Ministries and travels across the country facilitating the Lose It For Life Workshop with Steve Arterburn and Dr. Linda Mintle (www.loseitforlife.com). In the local community, Julie is well known for her lively and interactive presentations. She helps people in small businesses, police and fire departments, large corporations and schools learn how to reduce stress and manage anxiety through self-awareness and self-care. Julie also teaches weekend workshops that help individuals get unstuck and onto a path of growth and change. Her next
weekend
workshop, Who Am I?, will be October 21, 2006,
