Karen is a registered Marriage and Family Therapist Intern. She received a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and a Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology from California State University in Hayward. Karen provides professional counseling to individuals, couples, families and children.

In addition to her clinical experience at CCC, Karen’s has worked at a number of non-profit agencies in the bay area. Karen’s has a humanistic approach and places value on human potential, and spirituality. She counsels clients from diverse cultural and socio-economic backgrounds and is culturally sensitive.

Karen enjoys working with couples, families and children. Her areas of interest are abuse/trauma, domestic violence, women’s issues, addiction, anxiety, depression, marital and grief counseling.

Karen is a member of the California Association of Marriage and Family Therapists. Karen is a certified Domestic Violence counselor.
