Sharon is a registered Marriage and Family Therapist Intern. She provides professional counseling to individuals, couples and children who face everyday life situations that are overwhelming and difficult. Sharon has the experience, understanding, and empathy so you do not have to face complex issues in your life alone. Her warm and friendly style makes for a collaborative therapist-client relationship that is both challenging and supportive while offering insight and feedback as inner wisdom and growth are attained. Her gentle and compassionate style works effectively with clients experiencing conflict due to communication skills, family discord, anxiety, and the grieving process.

As a graduate of Holy Names University with a B.A. degree in Psychology, a M.A. degree in Counseling Psychology, and a Certificate in Pastoral Counseling, Sharon focuses on the whole person bringing together the important components of physical, emotional, and spiritual health. In addition to individual and couples therapy, Sharon’s experience includes working with domestic violence victims and, as a former school counselor for grades K through 8, working with children and adolescents through psychotherapy and play therapy.

Sharon’s expertise is geared towards helping individuals, couples and children with: communication skills, anxiety disorder and stress management, traumatic events, addictions, depression, setting healthy boundaries, childhood abuse, physical, emotional and sexual abuse, and grief counseling.

Sharon is also a counselor for New Life Ministries and conducts small group workshops. She is a workshop leader for Every Heart Restored, which is designed for those who live with individuals with sexual addictions. She has been a member of CAMFT since 2001.
