George Poliszuk is a Marriage and Family Therapist Trainee with a B.A. degree in Business Administration from Vanguard University. He has been working as a therapist trainee at the East Bay’s Family Services of the Tri-Cities Agency, the RotaCare Clinic within El Camino Hospital in Mountain View, and most recently with the Hayward office of Christian Counseling Centers. He brings a lot of enthusiasm and greatly enjoys working with families, couples, adults, and children. His focus and experience have included working with clients experiencing anxiety disorders, grief, parent-child issues, addictions, depression, and relationship issues.

George’s professional career began in the banking and financial world nearly 22 years ago. He continued in banking until embarking nearly four years ago towards a career in Marriage and Family Therapy. He is set to acquire a Master’s Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Western Seminary in December 2011.

George is the eldest child of Ukrainian parents who were born and raised in South America. Being brought up in an immigrant home with such diverse cultural influences has greatly impacted his worldview. He has been married for nearly seven years and has two children. George is also a huge Bay Area sports fan.
