Marlene is a Marriage and Family Therapist Intern who completed her Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology and a Certificate in Pastoral Counseling from Holy Names University in Oakland, CA in May 2008. She has a Bachelor’s degree in Business Education from Central State University in Wilberforce, OH. Marlene has over 20 years of teaching experience and is currently employed as a teacher at Eden Area ROP in Hayward, CA. In addition to her clinical experience at CCC, Marlene has volunteered at a local homeless shelter where she counseled people of every walk of life. Marlene realizes the importance of treating the whole person, which includes physical, spiritual, and emotional health. In addition to individual and couples therapy, she enjoys working with adolescents, children, and families. Her counseling areas of interest include women’s issues, grief and loss, anxiety, depression, codependency, and spirituality. |
