Mary has a warm and welcoming presence with her clients. She works, primarily, with men, women, teens, and families. Mary blends faith, generously, along with her professional training and 18 years of clinical experience, as she works with distressed people. Mary’s joy is to see clients really begin to live in freedom, as they take in God’s love and grace personally, through the therapeutic relationship.

Mary is a graduate of UC Berkeley, in Psychology, and Cal State Hayward in Clinical Counseling. She joined Christian Counseling Centers in 1988 and received her State License as a Marriage and Family Therapist in 1992. She is Director of the Hayward Center. Mary is also trained in EMDR, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing, and is a member of the EMDR International Association. Mary frequently integrates the tools EMDR provides, into her work with clients who feel stuck in negative beliefs about themselves, held over from childhood.
