Jennifer is a Marriage and Family Therapist Trainee, currently working on her master’s degree at the University of Phoenix, Bay Area campus located in San Jose, California. She earned her bachelor's degree in Business Management from the University of Phoenix in 2003. Jennifer is passionate about her work in the counseling field. She has particular enthusiasm about working with adolescents, women in transition, singles and families with substance abuse issues.
Jennifer is committed to helping each client discover how to prevail through various trials in their lives. She has worked as a counselor in the juvenile probation setting and also as a counselor with dually diagnosed teens and their families. Jennifer desires to provide skillful and compassionate support for each client. She believes the therapeutic environment is the safest way to assist clients in learning healthier ways of functioning in life and to help with personal growth. Jennifer is also a mother to her 4-year old daughter.
