Gary anticipates graduating in June 2008 with a Masters of Arts – Marriage Family Therapy degree at Western Seminary in San Jose, CA. He has had 2+ years of experience interning at New Life Community Services, a drug and alcohol addiction recovery treatment center in Santa Cruz, CA. He continues to contribute as part of the clinical staff as an individual and group counselor for residential and outpatient clients. Gary facilitates a weekly men’s group along with a co-ed process group. Topics of focus in his counseling included, but were not limited to, addiction recovery, relapse prevention, grief, pain, anxiety, depression, and family of origin issues.

Gary began his Marriage and Family Therapy internship at Christian Counseling Center - Mountain View in April 2008. Gary’s areas of interest and passion include substance and behavior addictions, child therapy, grief / loss, depression, anxiety, life adjustment and family of origin issues.

Gary also currently works in the high-tech industry. He enjoys ministering to youth and English-speaking young adults at several Bay Area Chinese-American Christian churches as a guest speaker for Sunday worship services and retreats. In his free time, Gary loves to play and watch basketball, spend time outdoors, and fellowship with loved ones and friends.
