Jeremy has five years of experience in scientific and medical research. Both as an undergraduate and subsequent to receiving his diploma, he was employed by the University of Washington in biological research laboratories. While there, he became familiar with various experimental techniques pertinent to molecular biology and carried on an independent research project.

During his work at the University of Washington, Jeremy’s interests took a dramatic turn. His experiences working as a volunteer in juvenile detention centers and homeless shelters stirred in him a desire to become more directly involved in the helping professions.

Jeremy pursued a Masters of Counseling Psychology at Northwest University in Kirkland, WA. His work at that time included being part of the clinical staff at a residential setting for mentally ill adults. Additionally, Jeremy enjoyed many opportunities to lead psycho-social education classes on topics including anger and grief.

Jeremy moved to California in September 2005, taking a job to provide wrap-around services for high-risk youth. Jeremy coordinates with family members and community providers to offer mental health services for the youth.

Jeremy began his MFT internship at CCC Mountain View is the Fall of 2005. Jeremy enjoys working with a range of issues, such as grief, couples therapy, family of origin topics, and growth in interpersonal relationships.
