Nancy received her Master's Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy and Addiction Studies Certificate at Western Seminary. She has interned at a drug and alcohol treatment center for more than a year using the 12-steps approach to help clients maintain sobriety and deal with abuse, abandonment, emotional distress and relationship difficulties. She counsels individuals struggling with addiction as well as children of addicted parents and has the experience of facilitating groups. Nancy also works at a middle school in San Jose as a student counselor helping adolescents with issues such as academic difficulties, family distresses, gang and drug related problems, anxiety, and depression. Nancy begins her MFT internship at Christian Counseling Center - Mountain View in 2008.
Nancy was a software engineer for more than ten years before switching her focus to counseling. She is an active member in her church and she has served as teacher in children Sunday school and parenting classes. She is proficient in English, Cantonese and Mandarin.
