  • Marriage and family issues
  • Individual problems
  • Undesirable interpersonal/relationship situations
  • Work and career-related situations

His experience of 45 years includes 14 years serving in the ministry of four churches, six years counseling in private practice, four years counseling 16-21 year-old youth in job training programs, seven years and currently as professor of Christian counseling at Bay Cities Bible College in Oakland, and nine years as adjunct professor in leadership and group dynamics in the graduate school at Golden Gate University.

As a consultant, David has facilitated counselor education for several hundred para-professional counselors in counseling programs for economically disadvantaged adolescents. He has also served as an organization development consultant; and as coach to leaders, managers, and workers with regard to work-related performance and behavior issues in corporations and government organizations.

He graduated with a diploma from BIOLA (Bible Institute of Los Angeles), a B.A. from San Jose State University, and an M.A. from San Francisco State University. As with all other therapists licensed in California, he remains up-to-date through participation in an ongoing series of continuing education seminars and workshops.
