Emily is a marriage and family therapist trainee (very soon to be intern) who loves people and is compassionate about helping others gain insight about themselves, their role within society and their families. She received a bachelor's degree in communication arts from California Baptist University and went on to receive a masters degree in counseling psychology. She is currently working towards another masters degree in Theological Studies from Golden Gate Baptist Theological Seminary.
She is compassionately focused on helping her clients discover new patterns of thought, action, and how the past plays a role into life. She seeks to come along side and help others figure out and deal with things that are affecting them currently. She has experience in working with stress management, depression and/or anxiety, bipolar disorder, teenage issues involving family and individual issues, family dynamics, divorce issues with children, adolescents, and adults, physical, emotional, and sexual abuse, and is trained in Prepare/Enrich in working with couples.
