Jennifer received her Masters degree in Counseling Psychology with an emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy from the University of San Francisco in 2000 and has worked in the Counseling field for the past seven years. Prior to this she enjoyed an extensive career in the Human Resource and Training field both in the UK and the USA.

Jennifer’s particular passion is to help facilitate the growth and healing process in adolescents and adults struggling with complex life transitions, identity formation, low self-esteem, co-dependency, grief and loss and ineffective relationships. In addition she has experience treating anxiety disorders, depression, marital difficulties, abuse, chemical dependency related issues, and eating disorders. Her approach is to combine empathy, genuineness and respect for the client’s personal experience with professional clinical skills and solid biblical principles and Christian values. Her desire is to help each individual embrace their own sense of worth and unique identity as they become more conscious of their own needs and find more effective ways to have these needs met in Christ.

Her clinical training began at Pyramid where she worked primarily with drug and alcohol related issues and domestic violence both with individuals and in group settings and with children affected by these issues. She has worked with school-age children and adolescents in both school and private practice settings and in addition has worked with couples and families. Jennifer has worked with Christian Counseling Centers in San Francisco for the past four years and is a member of the California Association of Marriage and Family Therapists and the New Life Ministries Network.
