Julie Ford is dedicated to helping Christian women and couples improve their marriages and relationships. She specializes in helping women who are experiencing depression or anxiety as a result of relationship conflicts, parenting challenges, stressors on the family due to work-related travel, or midlife issues. She has done extensive study and work in the areas of verbal and emotional abuse, and helping individuals recovering from or involved in controlling relationships.

Julie leads adult therapy groups, has taught parenting classes, is a clinical supervisor, and represents Christian Counseling Centers as a public speaker. She received her Master’s Degree in Counseling from California State University, Fresno, in 1993, and is a member of the California Association of Marriage and Family Therapists and the New Life Ministries Counselors Network . She has been affiliated with Christian Counseling Centers since 1994. Julie is an active member of St. Andrew’s Lutheran Church, San Mateo, and enjoys integrating her Christian faith and values into her work with clients.
