Miriam is a registered Marriage and Family Therapist Intern. She earned her Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology, and a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology at San Francisco State University. Her previous experience included working in private and non-profit settings such as Family Service Agency of San Francisco, San Mateo County Mental Health, and SFSU Psychology Clinic where she provided psychotherapy services to a diverse population of students, children, adolescents, adults, and families in the community. Her clinical areas of focus are depression, anxiety, stress, self-esteem, personal growth, trauma, abuse, grief and loss. She also enjoys working with singles with relationship difficulties. Miriam is bilingual, speaks Portuguese, and is a member of California Association of Marriage and Family Therapists (CAMFT).
