After 26 years in teaching and administration, Lloyd Fritz began a transition into a full time counseling and therapy. Serving for 20 years as principal of Santa Rosa Christian School, he has become extensively connected with the Christian community in Sonoma County.
Lloyd’s decision to move from working with students and their families in a school setting to that of the counseling office was motivated by his desire to be completely available to the family and not hindered by his role as an administrator. His educational experience, however, continues to benefit his work with families on many levels, as emotional and psychological issues are dramatically expressed in the educational and social environments of our schools. Beginning in pre-school and Kindergarten and continuing through college, the individuals approach and perspective to how he/she integrates, copes, or struggles with the expectations of others and self impact the entire family in significant ways.
Lloyd is committed to helping families develop healthy relationships by establishing healthy and safe environments where each individual can grow and develop into the special person God intended him/her to be. Sometimes that work is done with individuals, but the goal is to always bring about healing and wholeness that reflects God’s truth in relationship to healthy connections with others.
Lloyd completed his Masters Degree in Counseling Psychology with the University of San Francisco in 2003, and has been associated with Christian Counseling Center in Santa Rosa, where he now serves as director, since 2002. |
